Campfire Canvas Survey by RVIA

Results of a Campfire Canvas survey by the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) indicate that more new buyers are coming into the Rv market and that seasoned RV owners are still as passionate as ever about Rving, even in difficult economic times.

According to survey findings released late last year, 16 percent of the respondents said they bought their first RV during the past year.  This is an increase over the previous year, when 12 percent of the respondents said they were first-time buyers.  Among those surveyed, 90 percent cited the affordability of the lifestyle as a major benefit to owning an Rv.  Forty percent said they are considering another RV purchase, with 21.8 percent looking to buy in the next year and 43.9 percent within the next 2 years.
